Job Summary
The Digital Product Specialist based in Pune will be part of the global Digital Product Catalog team, whose objective is to offer expertise in online content development and lead the business in using data to improve the company's digital presence. It will work closely with the Digital Buying Experiences team, Portfolio team, Offering Teams and the vertiv.com team to fulfill responsibilities related to, but not limited to, content web authoring, product information management, product pages, digital asset management, and marketing campaigns landing-page development.
Essential Job Functions
- Creation, editing, and publishing of content to ensure that it aligns with the Vertiv brand guidelines and the company’s business objectives for Vertiv’s digital platforms such as inriver cPIM, Vertiv.com, VERN (Vertiv Intranet), PRM / Partner Portal, Sales Portal.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that content on these sites is accurate, relevant, up-to-date, and adheres to the established digital marketing & brand guidelines as well as the company’s business objectives
- Collaborate with the Digital Buying Experiences team to improve the user experience on our company’s website.
- Ensure all web content aligns with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
- Perform regular audits of web pages to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Work with the UX team to optimize the website’s user experience by implementing intuitive navigation, responsive design, accessibility features
- Support regional marketing, web and business teams in localizing, building, and maintaining their content for their website, including providing author training if needed
- Provide web content input for requests as needed
- Assist in maintaining, implementing, and dissemination of brand and/or digital guidelines to our stakeholders
- Learn and utilize our content management systems (CMS) and product information management system (PIM) to edit, publish and organize web content.
- Monitor and report on web content performance and user engagement.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving web content issues.
- Perform user acceptance tests to support site improvements (all digital platforms) and quality assurance checks (all digital platforms)
- Participate in meetings and discussions, contributing to a better digital experience for authors and external stakeholders.
- Maintain great collaborative relationships with the digital marketing teams to provide the best digital experience across Vertiv’s online platforms
- Grow productive professional relationships with different stakeholders / regional and business teams by contributing UX and design expertise that will help them with their business objectives
Job Qualifications
- Be knowledgeable in key authoring platforms that power Vertiv.com:
- Optimizely / Episerver (CMS)
- InRiver / Brandmaker (PIM)
- OCM / Brandmaker (DAM)
- Be proficient or well-versed in other tools that support Vertiv.com:
- Eloqua (website form creation)
- Details oriented, hardworking
- Team player
- Analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written English language
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and quick to embrace new technology
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint
- Technical knowledge about CMSs and web publishing
