Job Description – Manager, Control Tower Location: Head Office, Edgistify Experience: 4+ years in analytics, control tower, or operations monitoring Skills Required : Python, Power BI, Excel, Data Analytics, Dashboarding, Reporting About the Role: The Manager – Control Tower will be responsible for real-time monitoring, analytics, and reporting of Edgistify’s supply chain and warehouse operations. This role requires strong data-handling capabilities, technical expertise in Python, Power BI, and Excel, and the ability to develop insightful dashboards to optimize operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Real-Time Monitoring & Data Analysis ● Set up and manage a control tower framework to monitor live warehouse and logistics operations. ● Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs). ● Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in warehouse and transportation operations using data analytics. 2. Reporting & Business Insights ● Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse operations, inventory movement, and order fulfillment. ● Automate data extraction and reporting using Python and Power BI. ● Perform deep-dive analysis on operational trends, delays, and cost optimization opportunities. 3. Data Automation & Process Improvement ● Develop automated reporting solutions using Python scripts and Excel macros. ● Enhance operational efficiency by implementing predictive analytics models. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and visibility across operations. 4. Stakeholder Communication & Coordination ● Act as a single point of contact for internal teams regarding real-time operational data. ● Present actionable insights to senior management for data-driven decision-making. ● Work closely with operations, warehouse, and client teams to optimize processes. Key Skills & Qualifications: ● Technical Proficiency - Python (for automation & analytics), Power BI (for visualization), and Excel (advanced). ● Data Handling - Experience in large-scale data analysis, SQL, and database management is a plus. ● Problem-Solving - Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and suggest optimizations. ● Communication - Strong reporting and presentation skills to convey data insights effectively. ● Industry Knowledge - Understanding of warehousing, supply chain, and logistics operations is preferred.
