Liferay Developer

Job Title: Full Stack Liferay DeveloperExperience: 2 to 6 yearsLocation: Ahmedabad, GujaratJob Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Liferay Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the Liferay platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with both front-end and back-end technologies, particularly in developing enterprise-level applications, and is passionate about creating efficient, high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Liferay Development: Develop, test, and deploy Liferay DXP solutions using Java, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.- Application Architecture: Design and implement both client-side and server-side architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.- API Integration: Build and maintain REST APIs to ensure smooth communication between the front-end and back-end systems.- Database Management: Develop and manage databases (e.g., MySQL) to ensure data accuracy and availability.- Testing & Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the application is bug-free and performs efficiently.- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other developers, to develop and refine software solutions.- Documentation: Write clear and concise technical documentation for future reference and reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: - 5+ years in software development.- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Liferay DXP (7.0 or higher) Backend and Fronted.- 2+ years of experience developing REST APIs within the Liferay environment. Technical Skills: - Proficient in front-end technologies such as Liferay MVC, Spring MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.- Experience with Java for back-end development.- Strong experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL).- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.- Good to have hands-on exposure working on AWS cloud, Docker, or Kubernetes. Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
