Role Description

This is a intern on-site role located in Hyderabad for an IoT & Embedded Engineer (PCB Design Focus). The IoT & Embedded Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and debugging embedded systems, focusing on PCB design and IoT integrations. Day-to-day tasks will include conceptualizing and implementing embedded software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, testing and troubleshooting hardware and software, and ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom PCBs for IoT and embedded devices
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to create robust product architectures
• Perform schematic capture, component selection, and layout design using tools like Altium Designer or KiCad
• Validate and debug hardware prototypes and final assemblies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, QA) to ensure seamless integration
• Maintain documentation for design reviews and manufacturing processes
• Coordinate with vendors for fabrication, component sourcing, and PCB assembly

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Embedded Software Programming and Debugging
• Experience with Embedded Software and Software Development
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Internet of Things (IoT)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience with PCB design and hardware troubleshooting is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance in IoT and embedded systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on low-power or battery-operated IoT devices
• Knowledge of RF circuits, BLE, and Wi-Fi modules
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and compliance standards (EMI/EMC)
• Understanding of firmware development (C/C++)
