Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary

As the Supply Chain Manager, you'll oversee our entire end-to-end supply chain, encompassing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and compliance. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams like operations, engineering, finance, and legal to optimize the supply chain, drive operational excellence, and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. Your expertise in supply chain management and compliance, combined with your leadership abilities, will be vital to the growth and success of our drone Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain, including sourcing strategies, vendor management, inventory optimization, and cost reduction programs.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Oversee all procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation of contracts, and ongoing relationship management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Manage the logistics and distribution network, including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers and partners.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management processes and systems to optimize inventory levels, minimize holding costs, and ensure the availability of materials to support production and customer demand.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards, including export controls, customs regulations, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier risks, geopolitical risks, and regulatory risks, through effective risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate supply chain performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams, to align supply chain activities with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to supply chain processes, compliance activities, and performance metrics.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Strong expertise in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance relevant to supply chain operations (e.g., export controls, customs).
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize supply chain processes and drive operational excellence.
  • Experience with supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in establishing and utilizing supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
