Human Resources Executive Company Description TAS (The Academy School) Pune aims to provide a happy and nurturing environment for children to excel in their learning journey. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Executive at The Academy School, Pune located in Dange Chowk, tathawade, Pimpri- Chinchwad. The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for HR management, operations, employee relations, implementing HR policies, and overseeing human resources functions within the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction for teaching and non-teaching staff. Develop and implement HR policies in alignment with educational regulations and labor laws. Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation using HR software. Oversee attendance, leave management, and ensure timely payroll coordination. Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary procedures. Coordinate professional development programs and track staff training needs. Manage and Support performance management systems, including appraisals and goal-setting processes. Ensure compliance with child protection, safeguarding, and health & safety standards. Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the school’s values and mission. Liaise with school leadership on workforce planning and organizational development. Provide HR metrics and reports to management as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources*, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 3 years of HR experience*, preferably in education or a similar setting. Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance in the education sector. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Empathy, discretion, integrity and a collaborative mindset.
