Golang Developer

About Position:

As a Sr. Software Engineer on our Platform/Infrastructure team, you will contribute to the writing and maintaining tools written in Python, Go, Groovy, Terraform, etc., used to manage container deployments on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure. You will also be helping development teams adapt these tools and practices and use your experience in infrastructure management to contribute to automation, better observability, and security practices.

What You'll Do:

• Network Debugging Skills: Extensive troubleshooting abilities in network-related issues, including proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) networking and cloud networking to ensure seamless communication between distributed components.
• Proficiency in Software Development: Demonstrated expertise in coding with a good command of Python or Golang, showcasing the ability to architect, develop, and maintain robust software solutions.
• Solid Foundation in Systems: Possessing a deep understanding of system architecture and design principles, capable of architecting scalable and reliable systems.
• Expertise in Observability: Extensive experience in implementing and leveraging observability tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, and Open Telemetry to ensure the observability and performance of distributed systems. Familiarity with monitoring platforms, including Splunk, SignalFx/Splunk Observability, and Datadog.
• Proficient in Multi-Cloud Environments: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, including expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing applications in multi-cloud environments.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s): In-depth knowledge and practical experience in managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Terraform: Skilled in infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, focusing on using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently and reliably.
• Experience in Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance within software systems and processes.
• Cloud: Good understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, cloudbees, harness, Argo CD, GitHub actions.
• Manage CICD systems, Devops, coding – Golang, Grafana– must have
