We are seeking a versatile and creative Full Stack Web Developer with a strong passion for graphic design and user experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire web development lifecycle, from conceptualizing stunning visual designs and user interfaces to implementing robust back-end functionalities using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and PHP. You will play a crucial role in shaping our digital presence, ensuring our web applications are not only highly functional but also visually captivating and intuitive for users.
Responsibilities:
Graphic Design & UI/UX:
Design and create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive website layouts, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Develop high-quality graphic assets, icons, logos, and other visual elements for web applications, ensuring brand consistency.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and optimize user experience.
Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, design tools, and best practices to ensure cutting-edge designs.
Front-End Development:
Translate design mockups and wireframes into clean, semantic, and efficient HTML5 and CSS3 code.
Implement interactive and dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript (and relevant frameworks/libraries like jQuery, React, Angular, or Vue.js if applicable).
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.
Optimize front-end performance for fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
Back-End Development:
Develop and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs using Java (e.g., Spring Boot, Servlets) and PHP (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, raw PHP).
Design, implement, and manage databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) to store and retrieve application data efficiently.
Integrate third-party APIs and web services as needed.
Implement security best practices to protect web applications and data.
Full Stack Collaboration & Lifecycle:
Collaborate closely with product managers, marketing teams, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality and error-free applications.
Manage projects, timelines, and deliverables effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Maintain well-documented code and technical specifications.
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven professional experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing both design and development skills.
Graphic Design & UI/UX Expertise:
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and responsive web design.
Ability to create compelling visual concepts and translate them into functional web interfaces.
Front-End Development:
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
Experience with a modern JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a strong plus.
Back-End Development:
Proficiency in Java and/or PHP, including relevant frameworks (e.g., Spring for Java, Laravel for PHP).
Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
General Development Skills:
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design and technical concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit for Java, PHPUnit for PHP, Jest/Enzyme for JavaScript).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of SEO principles and web accessibility standards.
