Finance Manager

Fortis Hospital, Jaipur is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead statutory compliance, financial planning, reporting, audits, and internal controls. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in healthcare finance, tax planning, MIS, and budgeting, with a sharp focus on accuracy, compliance, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Statutory Compliance & Audit Management

Ensure full compliance with statutory and accounting laws and principles.

Responsible for tax planning, statutory accounts, and corporate tax filings.

Conduct internal audits and coordinate with statutory/internal auditors.

Maintain and improve audit ratings through timely corrective actions.

2. Financial Reporting & MIS

Prepare, analyze, and report monthly management accounts and MIS.

Generate timely, accurate financial statements to support decision-making.

Develop and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

3. Working Capital & Fund Management

Monitor working capital and manage organizational funds effectively.

Oversee capital expenditure against set budgets and ensure cost control.

Present monthly budget vs. actual analysis for operational expenses.

4. Vendor Management

Ensure timely vendor payments in line with purchase order terms.

Maintain compliance with financial obligations and procurement protocols.

5. Cost Monitoring & Profitability

Track departmental cost and profit performance, suggest corrective actions.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

6. Systems, Process & Record Maintenance

Ensure robust internal controls and accounting processes.

Maintain all financial records as per hospital and regulatory standards.

Implement continuous improvements in accounting systems and practices.

7. Contract & Compliance Oversight

Regularly review contracts and ensure timely renewals/updates.

Submit periodic reports to internal and external authorities on time.

Ensure adherence to all financial policies, procedures, and statutory norms.

8. Strategic Input & Advisory

Provide financial insights to the Financial Controller on trends and risks.

Offer recommendations for tax planning and fiscal efficiency.

Support management with ad hoc financial analyses and insights.

9. Other Responsibilities

Any other duties assigned by senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) with strong academic credentials.

8–10 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, with at least 3–5 years in a hospital or healthcare setup.

Sound knowledge of Indian taxation, Companies Act, and healthcare finance norms.

Proficient in Tally, SAP/ERP systems, and advanced Excel.

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
