The DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations by streamlining the delivery, integration, and reliability of software systems. This role focuses on automation, infrastructure-as-code, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), and monitoring to ensure stable and scalable systems.
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance workflows.
Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Optimize build, test, and deployment processes for faster and safer releases.
Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on cost optimization, performance, and security.
Implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, etc.).
Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployments.
Perform vulnerability assessments and enforce access control policies.
Set up and manage system monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
Provide technical support and documentation for internal teams.
