About the Role: As a Design & Production Operations Manager , you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of converting B2B client interior projects—from design review to production planning and on-site execution. You will lead a team of designers, production coordinators, and site supervisors to ensure multiple client projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality. This role requires strong leadership , a technical mindset , and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment that supports multiple architects, designers, and contractors . Key Responsibilities: Design & Technical Coordination Review 2D/3D design drawings received from multiple B2B clients. Coordinate with in-house design and client design teams for approvals and technical feasibility. Translate approved designs into production-ready formats and accurate BOQs. Production Management Plan production schedules based on project timelines and factory capacity. Coordinate with the factory team for material planning, cutting lists, and production accuracy. Ensure timely completion of jobs with quality checks before dispatch. Site Execution Oversight Manage multiple client project sites—handle site measurement, readiness, and installation coordination. Allocate installation teams and resolve site issues in real-time. Monitor project timelines, flag risks early, and ensure quality handovers. Team Management Lead and supervise a team of design coordinators, factory liaisons, and site supervisors. Assign responsibilities, track task status, and ensure internal alignment across teams. Coach junior team members and promote accountability and performance excellence. Client & Partner Coordination Serve as the operational point of contact for architects, designers, and other B2B clients. Provide regular updates on project progress, timelines, and issue resolution. Build long-term trust and partnerships through reliability and operational efficiency. Project Reporting & Process Improvement Maintain project tracking systems, dashboards, and reports. Monitor production KPIs (time, cost, quality) and identify areas of improvement. Suggest and implement process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent field. 5+ years of experience in design-to-execution project management in the interior or modular furniture industry. Strong understanding of modular production systems, materials, and hardware. Team leadership experience with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Excel, and workflow/project management tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage multiple clients and stakeholders. Bonus Points: Experience in a factory-backed production company. Exposure to B2B execution models (job work, modular execution, site installations).
