Job Description

Responsibilities

Data Collection & Processing

Extract, clean, and validate data from diverse sources.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for reporting and analysis.
Ensure data integrity and quality in reports and dashboards.

Analysis & Insight Generation

Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Deliver insights through clear storytelling and data interpretation.
Support business teams in defining KPIs and tracking metrics.

Reporting & Visualization

Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.
Translate complex data into user-friendly visualizations.
Enable self-serve analytics by improving access to reporting tools and data layers.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work with stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into technical solutions.
Partner with product, marketing, finance, and operations for high-impact analyses.
Provide data-driven recommendations for strategic and operational decisions.

Process Improvement & Documentation

Identify opportunities to optimize reporting processes and reduce manual work.
Document datasets, definitions, and business logic for shared understanding.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years in Data/Business Analyst roles.
Proficient in SQL, data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), Excel/Google Sheets.
Strong understanding of data structures, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery), and ETL.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Python/R knowledge is a plus.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of version control (e. g., Git) and collaborative workflows.
Experience with A/B testing/experimentation.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing.
Familiarity with business intelligence in SaaS, e-commerce, or product-led growth.
