Computer Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and related areas such as Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Web Development, Database Management, and Software Engineering. Prepare lesson plans, lectures, tutorials, assignments, and assessments aligned with academic goals and curriculum standards. Develop and update course materials and curricula in line with current industry trends and academic standards. Mentor and guide students in academic and career planning. Organize workshops, seminars, coding challenges, and tech events to enhance practical knowledge. Participate in departmental meetings, student evaluations, and quality assurance processes. Engage in academic research and contribute to publications, if applicable. Assist in accreditation, audits, and NAAC/NBA-related documentation processes. Perform other administrative and academic duties assigned by the HOD or college management. Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc-CS). UGC NET or Ph.D. preferred (as per university norms or regulatory body requirements). Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is highly desirable. Strong command of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL, Bootstrap, C++, etc.) and framework ( Django is highly preferable ) Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching tools.
