Job Summary:

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and implement the company’s long-term financial strategy.
• Drive initiatives that support revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimisation across geographies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

• Oversee the development and control of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial plans.
• Ensure alignment with corporate goals and regional market dynamics.
• Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for business expansion and investment.

Global Accounting & Financial Operations

• Lead and manage all financial and accounting operations including AR/AP, general ledger, reconciliations, and consolidations.
• Ensure adherence to international financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Coordinate with local finance teams to ensure consistent practices across 35 countries.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Manage global cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital requirements.
• Build cash forecasting models to support operational and strategic liquidity needs.
• Negotiate and manage banking relationships and credit facilities.

Compliance, Audit & Risk Management

• Ensure global statutory compliance, including tax laws, audit requirements, transfer pricing, and cross-border financial regulations.
• Oversee internal and external audits; implement controls to prevent fraud and ensure financial integrity.
• Lead enterprise risk management and maintain robust financial governance.

Strategic Finance & M&A

• Identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities including M&A, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration processes.
• Present findings and financial justifications to the board and key stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Communication

• Build and lead a high-performing global finance team.
• Act as the primary financial liaison to the board, investors, and auditors.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent financial qualification.
• MBA in Finance or related discipline preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, including 5+ years as a CFO or VP Finance.
• Prior experience in IT Services, Software, or Tech-enabled businesses.
• Proven track record in managing financial operations across multiple international jurisdictions.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in IFRS, GAAP, and global tax regulations.
• Strong command over financial modelling, forecasting, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Zoho Books).

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity in a multi-country setup.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, legal, and delivery teams.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in handling Series A/B fundraising or private equity backed setups.
• Exposure to offshore financial centres and cost structures (e.g., India, Eastern Europe, LATAM).
• Understanding of service delivery margin drivers, utilisation, and resource billing models.
