Job Title: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager

Salary Range: 4 LPA 6 LPA
Location: PuneDepartment: Sales & Business DevelopmentTime: 10AM -7PM (6 Days Working Sunday off)---

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive lead generation, sales closures, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead initiatives that contribute to business expansion. This role requires expertise in remote sales, strategic planning, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Generation & Qualification

Host and manage webinars to attract, nurture, and qualify leads.

Conduct market research to explore new sectors, track competitor activities, and identify evolving customer needs.

Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.

Sales Execution & Closing

Manage end-to-end remote sales cycles, from initial discovery calls to deal closure.

Coordinate with call center teams to follow up on leads, schedule virtual meetings, and ensure timely conversions.

Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements with clients.

Business Planning & Strategy

Develop clear, actionable plans for the sales and call center teams to drive new business acquisition.

Contribute to the formulation of sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Target Achievement & Reporting

Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline within the CRM system.

Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and progress.

Training & Team Enablement

Design and deliver comprehensive sales training for new hires and call center staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Create and maintain playbooks, objection-handling guides, and FAQs to enhance team effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management

Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client escalations and ensure swift issue resolution.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances

Identify, negotiate, and onboard strategic partners and channel allies to drive business growth.

Collaborate on co-marketing initiatives to increase lead flow and market penetration.

Process Improvement & Cross-functional Collaboration

Continuously review and refine sales processes to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance productivity.

Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies.

Market Insights & Product Feedback

Gather and relay customer feedback to Product and Marketing teams to inform product enhancements and messaging.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies to guide strategic planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

3-7 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, or consultative selling.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in CRM tools, sales automation, and LinkedIn networking.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Experience managing remote sales processes and virtual client engagements is a plus.

Competitive CTC in the range of 4 LPA to 6 LPA (Fixed + Performance-based Incentives).
