Backend Developer Intern

Role Overview: Advertising Saga is hiring a Backend Developer Intern to support its fast-growing Amazon marketing operations. The role involves working on back-end development of internal tools and dashboards. Interns will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to live projects in a collaborative, in-office environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. Manage and optimize databases for high performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug applications for maximum efficiency. Ensure data security, protection, and compliance with industry standards. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or .NET (specify as per your stack). Experience with databases like API, fastAPI Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent collaboration and communication abilities Bonus: Familiarity with Amazon SP-API or e-commerce/financial workflows. Excellent written communication skills and a detail-oriented coding approach. High sense of ownership — you focus on outcomes, not just task completion.
