Azure Data Engineer

Position Title: Data Engineer(Azure stack)

Location : Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Maintaining data pipelines, storage solutions (e.g., data lakes, warehouses), and ETL frameworks

Implement scalable solutions for orchestration (ADF, ADB...etc.) and data observability

Infrastructure provisioning and support: Collaborate on setting up data storage (ADLS, DB's, etc.), compute clusters, and networking.

Data ingestion and integration: Collaborate on APIs, event streaming (e.g. Event Hub), and data logging strategies.

Schema design and versioning: Ensure compatibility and scalability in data exchange formats.

Technical escalations: Serve as the point of contact for issues like service outages, quota limits, and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements gathering: Translate product goals into data specifications

Data integration: Ingest and normalize external data feeds (APIs, flat files, real-time streams).

SLAs and data quality: Maintain contracts and expectations for delivery timeliness, format consistency, and accuracy.

Data sourcing and transformation: Build reliable pipelines for financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and forecasts.

Data access audits: Share lineage, transformation logs, and access controls.

Governance and access control: Implement policies for PII handling, encryption, and user role management.

Strategic alignment: Communicate the impact and roadmap of data initiatives.

Custom implementations: Collaborate on complex integrations and performance tuning.

Executive dashboards: Deliver reliable, real-time insights and metrics to support decision-making.

Knowledge transfer: Ensure that external teams document and train internal staff for long-term ownership.

Working with Data Science & BI Analytics team to understand the models, BI report, and deployment.

Data delivery: Provide APIs, dashboards, or file exports to enterprise clients.

Support and troubleshooting: Handle escalations related to data issues or pipeline delays.
