Audit Associate

We are searching for an Audit Associate to join our team at Hemsworth Consulting for a full-time on-site role.

As an Audit Associate, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality audit services to our clients by performing audits, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards. You will play a key role in working closely with senior team members to execute audit engagements, perform testing of financial data, and assist in identifying potential risks and opportunities for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experienced Audit professional with approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in US Audit, including planning, execution, and finalization of audit engagements in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS standards.
• Skilled in performing substantive testing, walkthroughs, control testing, and preparing audit documentation using tools like CaseWare/AdvanceFlow.
• Strong understanding of audit procedures, financial reporting, and risk assessment across various industries.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines with accuracy and professionalism. Aditya mai additionally work is Accounts Payable Executive – SAP
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end AP process using SAP, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment runs, GR/IR clearing, and reconciliations. Skilled in handling PO and non-PO invoices, resolving vendor queries, and ensuring timely payments in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of audit processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with audit software is a plus.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous internship or experience in public accounting or auditing.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements, if required.
