About EdTerra Edventures

At EdTerra Edventures, we design transformative educational journeys that combine learning with real-world experiences. As part of our commitment to operational excellence and financial stewardship, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical financial analyst to join our Finance Department. This role is pivotal in helping us make data-driven decisions that optimize financial performance and support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor and manage daily cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity.
Forecast cash requirements on a weekly and monthly basis.
Prepare cash flow statements and present variance analysis.

P&L and Balance Sheet Management:

Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss statements.
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of the balance sheet.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to drive profitability.

MIS Reporting:

Prepare and circulate MIS reports on a monthly and six-monthly basis.
Analyze financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
Present variance analysis with actionable insights.

Financial Analysis:

Track key financial metrics and identify areas for cost optimization.
Support the senior management team with ad-hoc financial analysis.

Excel & Google Sheets Management:

Build and maintain advanced financial models.
Ensure all reports are automated and updated regularly using Excel/Google Sheets.

Requirements

Education: CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com with strong financial reporting background.
Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A roles.
Skills:

Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Google Sheets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles, cash flow forecasting, P&L, and balance sheet management.
Ability to prepare and present MIS reports effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
