Role Overview

As a Vision System Engineer at SkySight, you will assist in developing and deploying computer vision modules, contributing to image and video processing pipelines, model integration, and visualization tools. This is a hands-on role focused on real-world perception challenges using aerial imagery.

Key Responsibilities

 • Assist in integrating computer vision models (e.g., object detection, segmentation) into the SkySight pipeline.

 • Preprocess and annotate image/video datasets for model training and evaluation.

 • Support development of image analysis features like heatmaps, annotated overlays, and anomaly detection.

 • Contribute to testing and optimizing inference pipelines for GPU/CPU.

 • Collaborate with AI/ML and backend teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud and dashboard services.

 • Participate in regular code reviews, design discussions, and innovation brainstorming.

Required Skills

 • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.

 • Basic understanding of image processing, OpenCV, and/or deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

 • Familiarity with Python programming (or C++ is a plus).

 • Exposure to working with image/video datasets.

 • Curiosity and willingness to learn about drone imagery, GIS, and embedded vision.

Preferred (Good to Have)

 • Hands-on project or internship involving computer vision or AI.

 • Experience working with YOLO, Mask R-CNN, or similar models.

 • Exposure to tools like LabelImg, Roboflow, or CVAT.

 • Understanding of REST APIs or basic Docker usage.
