About The Team The Systems Reliability Engineer III will join a dynamic and collaborative team at Nutanix, focused on delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring the reliability of our services. Based in Pune, this team comprises top-tier technology specialists who thrive on innovation and problem-solving. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Worldwide Support, who fosters a supportive and customer-centric leadership style that emphasizes collaboration and growth. This approach ensures that each team member has the opportunity to contribute and excel in their role. The work setup for this position is a hybrid model, requiring team members to be in the office three days a week for meetings and collaboration, while allowing flexibility for remote work on the other days. This role does not require any travel, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding support and service to our customers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a hybrid setup. Your Role Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for customers to ensure high satisfaction and reliability of services. Collaborate with development teams to identify product defects and drive serviceability enhancements. Analyze customer data to mitigate risks and advance overall product reliability. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. Gather customer feedback to champion their needs and influence product enhancement discussions with developers. Contribute to and expand internal and external knowledge bases to promote continuous improvement. Provide support coverage during weekdays and off-hours on a rotational basis as needed. Establish strong partnerships with technology allies to collaboratively resolve issues and drive improvements in the ecosystem. What You Will Bring 7-9 years of experience in Systems Reliability Engineering or similar roles. Strong expertise in troubleshooting Virtualization (VMware ESXi), Networking (layer 2/3), and Linux Systems. Proficient in DevOps practices and cloud technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred. Customer-driven mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality support experiences. Familiarity with technologies from partners like VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft. Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge base improvement. Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.
