About the Role:

Technical Proposal Writer

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to understand client needs and project requirements.

2. Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and other client inquiries to identify key technical and business drivers.

3. Design and articulate tailored technical solutions that align with our product offerings and address specific client challenges.

4. Write, edit, and format high-quality, professional proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and other client-facing documents.

5. Create compelling supporting content, including technical diagrams, solution architecture visuals, presentations, and white papers.
6. Ensure all proposal content is accurate, well-written, and compliant with client specifications and company standards.
7. Manage a content library of reusable proposal materials to improve efficiency and consistency.
8. Maintain a deep understanding of our company's products, services, and technology stack.
9. Participate in strategy meetings and reviews to contribute to the overall bid strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Core Requirements (Applicable to all candidates):

1. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or a related field.

2. Exceptional English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

3. The ability to grasp complex technical concepts and explain them clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and/or Google Workspace.
7. A proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications (Ideal for experienced candidates):

1. 3+ years of experience in a role such as technical writing, proposal management, pre-sales engineering, or solution consulting.
2. Demonstrated experience in responding to government or commercial RFPs/RFIs.
3. Technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS platforms, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, AI/ML, or Enterprise Software.
