Role Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Xshield engineering team. As part of a high-performing, collaborative team in a startup environment, you will be involved in designing and building features for our flagship security platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced, ownership-driven culture. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain frontend and backend components using Angular.js and Node.js . Collaborate closely with the product and design teams to build intuitive and robust features. Take ownership of assigned problems – analyze, design, and implement solutions proactively. Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues across the software stack. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Write clear, maintainable code and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2 to 6 years of software development in Networking or Cybersecurity products including development in SaaS Platforms Strong programming skills in Node.js and Angular.js . Good understanding of micro-services and SaaS architecture Good problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities along with strong knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms Self-driven, quick learner with a proactive mindset – comfortable with minimal supervision. Good written and spoken English communication skills . Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability and willingness to work onsite from our Bangalore office . Nice to Have: Experience or familiarity with Python . Exposure to cloud product development Why Join Us?
