Job Description

Job Title:

Snowflake Data Engineer

Location:

Hyderabad

Experience:

7-15 Years

Key Responsibilites

Data Integration & ETL Processes:
Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake’s native features and third-party tools.
Data Modeling:
Create and maintain data models and schemas that optimize performance and facilitate business intelligence.
Develop and implement data warehousing solutions that support analytical needs.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize the performance of Snowflake queries and processes.
Implement best practices for data loading, querying, and indexing to ensure efficient data processing.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with other team members.
Documentation & Compliance:
Document data processes, schemas, and solutions to ensure clear understanding and knowledge sharing.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Proven experience with Snowflake data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific SQL functions. o Experience with Snowflake’s architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Snowflake.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications related to Snowflake or cloud platforms (e.g., SnowPro Certification).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python or Java or C#.
