Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering

As the SVP of Engineering, you will lead all facets of engineering across the organization—including product development, AI security, research engineering, and platform scalability. This role is responsible for defining and executing the long-term technology vision while ensuring the rapid, secure, and high-quality delivery of AI-powered cybersecurity products.

You will be at the center of innovation, unifying product, research, and AI security into a cohesive, high-performance organization. In this executive leadership role, you’ll shape company culture, scale technical teams, and help define the company’s global technical identity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the overall engineering strategy aligned with the company’s mission to deliver secure, AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.
• Lead and scale a multi-disciplinary engineering organization covering Product Engineering, AI Cybersecurity, and Research Engineering.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership on the product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and long-term technology investments.
• Oversee secure, scalable, and fast software delivery, with an emphasis on quality through agile and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Champion AI safety, privacy, and compliance in both strategic and technical decisions.
• Guide architectural decisions related to large-scale, cloud-native systems and machine learning infrastructure.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with customers, investors, and external stakeholders.
• Continuously stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, cybersecurity, and secure software architecture to maintain long-term competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum

  12+ years of experience

  in software engineering, with at least

  5+ years in senior leadership or executive-level roles

• Proven success leading engineering teams in cybersecurity, AI/ML, or SaaS product environments.
• Deep understanding of secure software architecture, adversarial AI, and cloud-native design principles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering scalable, high-quality products in fast-paced or regulated environments.
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with research, product, compliance, and go-to-market teams.
• Strategic thinking with a bias for execution and sound decision-making across build vs. buy vs. partner options.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire engineering leaders.
• Experience working with enterprise customers and mission-critical systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience scaling engineering teams through early to growth stages.
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, model risk management, and privacy-preserving technologies.
• Working knowledge of security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, SOC2, GDPR).
• Exposure to red/blue team dynamics and adversarial testing of AI systems.
• Open-source contributions, patents, or publications in relevant technical areas.
