Job Title: Senior/Lead SAP FICO Consultant Location: India[Hyderabad and Noida/Delhi NCR] Job Type: Full-time Employment. About the Role: This role is critical in delivering end-to-end SAP Finance and Controlling solutions, guiding clients through implementation, upgrade, and support phases. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of SAP FICO modules, excellent communication skills, and proven experience leading teams and projects. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP FICO modules (GL, AR, AP, AA, BA, CO-OM, CO-PC CO-PA, etc.). · Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Finance processes and integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, PS). · Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. · Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and ensure project deliverables are met with high quality. · Lead workshops and training sessions for business users and stakeholders. · Manage SAP FICO-related change requests and ensure alignment with business objectives. · Coordinate and execute testing phases (unit, integration, user acceptance). · Provide post-implementation support and continuous process improvement recommendations. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication between business and technical teams. Requirements: · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. · Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementations and support. · At least 2 -3 full-cycle SAP implementations as a Lead/Senior FICO Consultant. · Lead and participate in blueprinting, requirement gathering, workshops, and documentation. · Provide hands-on support during project go-lives and hyper-care. · Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for users and support teams. · Drive continuous process improvements and automation initiatives. · Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO modules, including but not limited to GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis. · Proven experience with bank integrations, payment formats, and electronic bank statements. Solid knowledge of SAP payment processes, including automatic payment program (APP), DME, and check processing. · Hands-on experience creating functional specs and working closely with ABAP developers. · Provide guidance on FICO-related ABAP enhancements: functional specifications, testing of custom reports, user exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and interfaces (IDocs, RFCs). · Good understanding of integration with MM, SD, and PP modules. · Experience with S/4HANA implementations (preferred). · Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills. · SAP certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance is a plus. Nice to Have: · Knowledge or Hands on Experience with other SAP Finance modules like Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury. · Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. · Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager, Jira, or ServiceNow.
