Role : QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in CI/CD processes and hands-on expertise with Jenkins. The ideal candidate should have solid programming experience in either JavaScript & TypeScript or Python. This is a remote opportunity for engineers who are passionate about building scalable, reliable test automation frameworks and contributing to modern DevOps workflows.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• Implement test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Define test strategies and work with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Execute automated functional, regression, API, and integration test suites
• Maintain and optimize Jenkins pipelines for automated testing and reporting
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and test reliability
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures across multiple layers of the application stack
• Monitor application performance, error logs, and test outcomes using observability tools
• Communicate testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders regularly
• Champion a test-driven development and quality-first culture within the engineering team
  

Mandatory Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on automation testing
• Proficiency in either JavaScript & TypeScript or Python for writing test scripts
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD implementation in real-world projects
• Strong understanding of automation test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, PyTest, or similar)
• Experience in API testing, contract testing, and using tools like Postman, REST Assured, etc.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools like npm, yarn, or pip
• Ability to write SQL queries and perform data validation against relational databases
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
