About the Role:

Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Own the development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
Integrate backend systems with databases, third-party APIs, and frontend applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in
Spring Boot
,
Spring MVC
,
Spring Data JPA
, and RESTful API development.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, and architectural patterns.
Proficiency with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Good experience with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitLab CI).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have (Preferred but not mandatory):

Experience with
Microservices architecture
and
Cloud platforms
(AWS/GCP/Azure).
Exposure to
Docker
,
Kubernetes
, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Knowledge of security best practices for backend development.
Basic frontend exposure (Angular/React/Thymeleaf) is a plus.
