Position Overview

Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:

  Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance applications using Java 8 and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).

• Architecture & Design:

  Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions that align with architectural standards and business requirements.

• API Development:

  Create and manage RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems as needed.

• Cloud Integration:

  Utilize AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) for application deployment and cloud-native development.

• DevOps & CI/CD:

  Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.

• Code Quality & Reviews:

  Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and continuously improve development practices.

• Mentorship:

  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

• Hybrid Work Leadership:

  Effectively manage and contribute in both remote and in-office settings, ensuring smooth communication and project continuity.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum

  8 years

  of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in

  Java 8+

  , Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, and other modern Java technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in

  designing and consuming RESTful APIs

  and working within a

  microservices architecture

  .
• Practical experience with

  AWS services

  and cloud-based application deployment.
• Solid understanding of

  CI/CD pipelines

  , version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with

  Docker

  , Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration tools.
• Experience with

  monitoring and logging tools

  such as ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
