Job Title: Senior HR Manager

Location: Kukatpally, Hyderabad

Institution Type: Medical & Engineering College

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in the education sector

Qualification: Postgraduate – MBA/PGDM in HR, MHRM, or equivalent


Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function for our integrated Medical and Engineering College. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in HR operations within the education industry, with proven experience in recruiting doctors, medical faculty, and engineering faculty. This role will be critical in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, policy compliance, and overall HR strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full HR spectrum: recruitment, onboarding, training, appraisal, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and employee relations.


Oversee and manage faculty recruitment for medical and engineering departments, including Doctors, Professors, Associate Professors, and Lecturers.


Handle doctor recruitment for MBBS, MD/MS, and allied health programs as per NMC (formerly MCI) norms.


Manage recruitment of technical and non-technical staff across all departments.


Ensure HR compliance with regulatory bodies such as AICTE, UGC, NMC/MCI, NAAC, etc.


Develop and implement HR policies and best practices tailored to the academic environment.


Coordinate performance reviews, career development plans, and succession planning.


Maintain employee data through HRIS and manage HR audits and documentation.


Foster a healthy work culture and support grievance resolution and conflict management.


Qualifications & Experience:

Postgraduate in HRM, MBA/PGDM in HR, MHRM, or equivalent.


Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, specifically in higher education institutions, preferably with both medical and technical education exposure.


Strong experience in recruitment of medical professionals (Doctors, Clinical Faculty).


Experience in technical/engineering faculty hiring is essential.


Knowledge of educational norms, accreditation requirements, and statutory compliance (AICTE/NMC/UGC).
