Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.Perform monthly bank reconciliations using Blackline and resolve reconciling items timely.Review prepaid invoices, maintain prepaid schedules, and handle amortization accounting.Manage fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, disposals, and depreciation schedules.Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring elimination entries during consolidation.Work with business stakeholders on vendor spend accruals and other period-end accrual accounting.Conduct flux/variance analysis as part of financial close and explain key drivers.Prepare audit schedules, support auditors, and resolve audit queries.Investigate and resolve GL issues, especially integration errors and foreign exchange (forex)discrepancies.Ensure compliance with SOX/internal controls and maintain up-to-date process documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, AP, Tax, Payroll, Revenue) for a seamless closeprocess.Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives for efficiency gains.Support project implementations and testing within the close team.

Qualifications

Requirements:
Chartered Accountants with 1–3 years of relevant experience in GL or Close activities.Strong understanding of accounting principles.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite) preferred.Familiarity with tools like Blackline is a plus.Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.High attention to detail, organized, and ability to meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exposure to SOX compliance and internal controls will be an advantage.
