Job Description

Ojective of this role As a Business Analyst specializing in JIRA, you will play a pivotal role in driving our project success by leveraging your expertise in JIRA to optimize our project management and software development lifecycle.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, stakeholders, and project managers, to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure the seamless integration of JIRA into our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of JIRA to customize workflows, dashboards, and reports that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all JIRA-related queries and issues, providing technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance team members' proficiency in JIRA and promote best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyse and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and resolve conflicts or ambiguities.
  • Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into actionable tasks within JIRA.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics using JIRA reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to enhance project delivery.
  • Data analysis & MIS for current product performance using advanced excel & functions, charts, macros, SQL and Power BI dashboards.

Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience 2 years working as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with JIRA, including configuring workflows, customizing dashboards, and creating reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g, Certified Scrum Master, JIRA Administrator) are a plus.
  • Hands on Experience of Advance Excel, SQL, Power Bi
