Key Responsibilities: Administer, monitor, and maintain MySQL and MongoDB databases in production and non-production environments. Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and regular health checks. Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies. Ensure high availability and scalability using replication, clustering, and sharding techniques. Monitor database systems using tools such as Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), Nagios, Prometheus, or equivalent. Perform regular database upgrades, patches, and migrations. Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture, configurations, and procedures. Collaborate with development teams on database design, indexing strategies, and best practices. Automate database tasks using scripts or orchestration tools. Ensure data security, compliance, and access control policies are enforced. Participate in on-call rotation and support emergency troubleshooting and recovery. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6 to 8 years of proven experience as a DBA handling MySQL and MongoDB databases. Deep understanding of MySQL (InnoDB, performance schema, slow query analysis) and MongoDB (replica sets, sharding, aggregation pipeline). Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL queries. Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments. Experience in implementing and managing high availability and disaster recovery. Hands-on experience with database backup tools (e.g., Percona XtraBackup, mongodump/mongorestore). Knowledge of security practices, including encryption, auditing, and user privilege management. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and managed DB services (e.g., RDS, DocumentDB, Atlas). Scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation tasks. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
