To learn more visit: www.syngenta.com Job Description Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code by taking end-to-end ownership of development Participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test, and integration of products Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes. Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment Strong team player Qualifications Must have ~2+ years of hands-on experience as a developer (NodeJS) Extensive knowledge of core concepts on JavaScript, ES6+ concepts, TypeScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks in relation with NodeJS Database solutions such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Mongo / DynamoDB, etc. Strong in Object Oriented Programming concepts Excellent troubleshooting skills. Knowledge with RESTful APIs / GraphQL APIs Experience with tools such as Node.js, NPM/Yarn, Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. A knack for benchmarking and optimization and writing clean/maintainable code. Experience with code versioning tools like GIT. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Jest or similar testing framework.
