Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Digital Strategy: Create a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap for Mangalaa Traaders, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
• Lead Digital Initiatives: Identify, prioritize, and oversee the implementation of digital projects, including but not limited to:
• Transitioning traditional sales and marketing to digital platforms (e-commerce, social media marketing).
• Implementing automation across various business processes (e.g., inventory management, customer support, supply chain).
• Exploring and integrating AI/Machine Learning solutions for data analysis, customer insights, and operational efficiency.
• Introducing and managing chatbot solutions for enhanced customer service and internal communication.
• Technology & Platform Selection: Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate digital tools, platforms, and vendors.
• Change Management & Culture Shift: Champion a culture of digital adoption and innovation within the organization. Develop and implement strategies to ensure smooth transitions, employee buy-in, and digital literacy across all departments.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with all department heads (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.) to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure digital solutions address core business challenges.
• Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital initiatives, track progress, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of transformation efforts.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with digital transformation and develop mitigation strategies.
• Team Development: Potentially build and mentor a small team or upskill existing employees in digital competencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in digital transformation, technology strategy, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing digital transformation projects in a traditional business environment.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, CRM/ERP systems, cloud computing, data analytics, and digital marketing technologies.
• Familiarity with automation tools (RPA), AI/ML concepts, and chatbot technologies.
• Excellent project management skills (Agile/Scrum preferred).
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and build consensus.
• Experience in the retail, wholesale, or trading industry (preferred, but not essential if strong transferable skills are demonstrated).
