We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in testing functionality within Salesforce as a CRM platform. In this role, you'll focus on validating the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce customizations, configurations, and integrations that support core CRM operations such as account and contact management, workflows, automation, and reporting.You’ll work closely with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to ensure that our Salesforce environment meets user needs and business requirements, contributing to continuous delivery through both manual and automated testing.This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about system quality and the Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce CRM features, configurations, and integrations.
- Validate core CRM processes including lead and opportunity management, account/contact workflows, task automation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers and admins to test custom development and platform changes.
- Build and maintain automated regression tests using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or TestCafe.
- Log, track, and prioritize defects using JIRA or similar issue tracking systems.
- Work with QA, Product, and Engineering teams to improve test coverage and testing practices.
- Maintain detailed test documentation including test cases, plans, and execution results.
- Participate in Agile processes, providing test planning and feedback during sprints and retrospectives.
About You
- 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce as a CRM platform.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, objects (standard/custom), flows, validation rules, and permissions.
- Experience testing business processes such as lead lifecycle, contact management, pipeline workflows, and dashboards.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) and scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
- Hands-on experience with test case management tools like TestRail and Agile platforms such as JIRA.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across systems and integrations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience testing Salesforce integrations with platforms like NetSuite, Workday, or CPQ tools.
- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or ReadyAPI.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on knowledge.
- Experience with performance testing or test data management in enterprise Salesforce environments.
