Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Ecommerce Marketing Manager based in Mumbai. The Ecommerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for our online store, managing e-commerce sales, analyzing market trends, and overseeing project management tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the sales team, recognizing new market opportunities, and ensuring that marketing initiatives align with business objectives.


Roles and responsibilities

1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement the overall eCommerce strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

2. Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through effective online sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and customer acquisition tactics.

3. Website Management: Oversee the design, functionality, and performance of the eCommerce website to ensure an optimal user experience and maximum conversion rates.

4. Product Management: Manage the online product catalog, including pricing, inventory management, and product listings optimization.

5. Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media advertising, and affiliate marketing, to drive traffic and sales.

6. Customer Experience: Focus on enhancing the overall customer experience by optimizing the online shopping journey, providing excellent customer service, and implementing customer feedback mechanisms.

7. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, traffic sources, and customer behavior, and use data analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

8. Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement eCommerce technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation.

9. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team, including professionals such as web developers, digital marketers, content creators, and customer service representatives.

10. Partnerships and Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with third-party vendors, partners, and service providers to support eCommerce operations, such as payment processors, shipping carriers, and technology vendors.

11. Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as data protection laws (e.g., GDPR), and implement security measures to protect customer data and prevent fraud.

12. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in eCommerce, and continuously innovate and optimize processes to stay competitive.

13. Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the eCommerce budget, allocate resources effectively, and track financial performance against targets.

14. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, IT, finance, and supply chain to align eCommerce initiatives with broader organizational strategies and goals.

15. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to eCommerce operations, such as cybersecurity threats, supply chain disruptions, or changes in market dynamics, and develop mitigation strategies.


Working Days


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Project Management abilities
  • Experience in E-Commerce and Sales with Leadership experience in eCommerce role
  • Expertise in developing and implementing Marketing Strategy
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Mumbai
  • Must have worked in an Ecommerce business planning section helping clients/product teams to leverage the opportunity
  • Post Graduation degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
