Oracle EBS R12.2.10 Data Model & Reporting Specialist – Part-Time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Data Model Consultant to assist with data analysis, reporting, and system mapping across Oracle EBS R12.2.10 modules. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Oracle EBS schema, particularly in Financials, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Inventory, and experience with custom reporting and integration support.

Core Responsibilities:

• Reverse-engineer and interpret EBS data models to support reporting and integrations.
• Write advanced SQL queries and PL/SQL packages based on business requirements.
• Map EBS entities across GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, INV, HRMS modules.
• Support development teams in identifying the correct tables, joins, and key relationships.
• Assist in building data dictionaries and entity relationship documentation.
• Work with Finance and Tech teams to design and validate financial reports (e.g., Asset Additions, Trial Balance, Aging).
• Help extract and validate data for BI/reporting tools like OBIEE, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Optionally, assist in EBS extension or integration projects (Workato, API Gateway, APEX).

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS R12.1 or R12.2 experience, with 2+ years in R12.2.10.
• Strong SQL & PL/SQL for EBS modules (GL, FA, AP, AR, PO, INV).
• Clear understanding of FA data flow: FA_ADDITIONS_B, FA_BOOKS, FA_DISTRIBUTION_HISTORY, GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS.
• Experience working with COA segment mapping, accounting setups, and ledger configurations.
• Hands-on with GL_BALANCES, XLA tables, AR/AP payment tables, HR schema.
• Good documentation skills and ability to build ERDs, data dictionaries, and data maps.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• OBIEE / Power BI / Oracle APEX experience.
• Exposure to Oracle BI Publisher reports.
• Understanding of Oracle Fusion/EBS hybrid integrations.
• Familiarity with tools like Toad, SQL Developer, or DBeaver.
• Any experience with EBS upgrades or data migrations.
