Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Quality Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of data across systems. You will design and implement data quality frameworks, conduct root cause analysis of data issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data integrity for better business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement data quality checks, rules, and validation processes. Identify data anomalies and inconsistencies, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them. Work closely with data engineers and analysts to integrate data quality controls into ETL pipelines. Create automated data quality scripts using SQL and/or Python. Monitor and maintain data quality dashboards and reports. Support data governance efforts by maintaining metadata and data lineage documentation. Participate in data audits and help define KPIs for data quality metrics. Investigate and resolve data quality issues in a timely and systematic manner. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. 3–6 years of experience in data quality engineering, data analysis, or data testing. Strong SQL skills for querying and validating large datasets. Experience with data quality tools like Informatica DQ , Talend DQ , Great Expectations , or similar. Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Informatica, etc.). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Good communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell . Exposure to data governance frameworks and best practices. Knowledge of data catalog or metadata management tools . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Show more Show less
