🧠 What You’ll Be Doing

As CTO, you will:

• Architect, build, and deploy our AI-driven core product from scratch
• Lead full-stack development with heavy integration of machine learning workflows
• Drive MLOps strategy — containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable model deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
• Build and scale engineering and data science teams from zero to one
• Own all tech stack decisions — from backend frameworks to ML tooling
• Collaborate with the CEO, product leads, and early customers to shape product features and roadmap
• Translate fuzzy business ideas into concrete ML tasks and ship them fast
• Ensure our infrastructure is fast, secure, scalable, and cloud-native (think AWS Lambda, GCP, Step Functions, etc.)
• Deploy and maintain generative models (LLMs, transformers, diffusion models) in real-world environments
• Create a culture of experimentation, innovation, and high ownership

🧰 Your Superpowers (Requirements)

• 8+ years

  of experience in software engineering, AI/ML systems, and startup environments
• Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science from top-tier schools (IITs, Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, etc.)
• Proven track record in

  building and shipping AI/ML products

• Strong coding chops — proficient in

  Java

  and at least one of:

  Python, TypeScript, JavaScript

• Deep knowledge of modern AI: LLMs, RAG, transformers, embeddings, diffusion models, etc.
• Solid experience with

  deep learning frameworks

  like

  PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX

• Strong in software design, distributed systems, and production-grade testing (unit, integration, regression)
• Excellent communication — can talk AI with engineers, and vision with investors
• Startup grit: biased toward action, thrives on chaos, hungry to build 0-to-1
