Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with a strong background in the Auto/Commercial Auto Insurance domain . The ideal candidate will have experience with SAAS platforms , P&C insurance systems , and a proven ability to translate business needs into effective solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements and ensure successful implementation across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and document business requirements in the Auto/Commercial Auto Insurance domain. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, developers, and QA teams to identify and recommend solutions. Lead requirement elicitation sessions, conduct product demos, and participate in quality reviews. Translate business requirements and use cases into test conditions. Prepare detailed documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories. Manage project deliverables across the lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment. Support UAT, production validation, and defect management processes. Maintain the product backlog and participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). Work with SAAS insurance platforms and ensure best practices in workflow design and business process mapping. Analyze current systems and propose enhancements for policy administration, claims management, billing, portals, and reporting systems. Collaborate with developers on API requirements and ensure alignment with CI/CD practices and GCP services.  Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years. 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) personal lines, commercial lines, or specialty lines. Strong experience in business analysis and process improvement. Proficiency with insurance packaged software (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami, EIS). Deep understanding of policy administration, claims, billing, portals, and insurance reporting. Strong documentation skills (business requirements, user stories, process flows). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Hands-on experience with tools like Jira and Confluence. Familiarity with SAFe Agile framework. Experience with GCP services, API integrations, CI/CD pipeline, and UI tools like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is preferred. Show more Show less
