Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret trade data to identify trends, patterns, and potential irregularities.
• Design and implement data models to support trade surveillance activities.
• Collaborate with compliance, technology, and operations teams to enhance surveillance logic and detection mechanisms.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Create dashboards and reports using BI tools to support business decision-making.
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to optimize data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Participate in testing and validation of surveillance rules and technology updates.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong data analysis skills with hands-on experience in SQL.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R).
• Expertise in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• In-depth understanding of capital markets, especially around trade surveillance and regulatory compliance.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Exposure to Ad-Tech platforms: familiarity with DSPs, SSPs, Ad Servers, and platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, The Trade Desk (TTD), and Google Analytics.
• Experience with requirements management tools: Jira, Confluence, Wrike.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
