Blockchain Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable blockchain architectures, protocols, and smart contracts across various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Polygon, Solana).
• Write, test, and deploy smart contracts using languages like Solidity, Rust, or Go, ensuring their security, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and integrate decentralized applications (dApps) with intuitive user interfaces, ensuring seamless interaction with blockchain networks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and quality assurance engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and security audits of blockchain solutions to identify and address vulnerabilities and optimize performance.
• Implement cryptographic methods and security protocols to safeguard blockchain systems against cyber threats and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain and update existing blockchain applications, implementing upgrades and enhancements to improve functionality, scalability, and security.
• Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation and adopt cutting-edge solutions.
• Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to a high-quality codebase and fostering a collaborative development environment.
• Document technical specifications, design decisions, and system architecture clearly and concisely.
• Potentially contribute to open-source blockchain projects and engage with the broader blockchain
  

Developer Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-7 years of hands-on experience in blockchain development.
• Strong proficiency in one or more blockchain programming languages
• Solidity (for Ethereum/EVM-compatible chains is highly preferred)
• Rust (for Solana or other Rust-based chains)
• Go
• Python
• JavaScript/Node.js
• Java/C++ (for core blockchain development)
• Proven experience with major blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Polygon, Solana, or similar.
• Solid understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed ledger technology (DLT), consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS), and cryptographic principles (hashing, digital signatures, encryption).
• Experience with smart contract development, deployment, and auditing tools (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, OpenZeppelin).
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js) for dApp front-end development.
• Experience with backend development technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python frameworks, Java Spring Boot) and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and Web3 concepts is a significant plus.
• Experience with APIs and web services for integrating blockchain solutions with external systems.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a quick learner with a passion for continuous skill development in a rapidly evolving field.
