Job Summary:

Kushub Media is seeking a passionate and skilled Backend Developer to join our growing technology team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications and APIs. Leveraging your experience with Node.js and MongoDB, you will contribute to building and enhancing our core products and services. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Work extensively with MongoDB to design, implement, and optimize data models and queries.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate backend logic with user-facing elements.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of our backend systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in backend development.
• Contribute to code reviews and share best practices within the team.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in backend development.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and the Node.js ecosystem.
• Proven experience working with MongoDB, including schema design, querying, and indexing.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
