Job Skills And Responsibilties

Title: Selenium Automation Test Engineer/Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Create automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
• Design data-driven and hybrid testing approaches.
• Execute automated tests for web and mobile applications.
• Analyze test results, identify defects and report them to developers.
• Perform regression testing to verify fixes and validate new features.
• Maintain and update test environments.
• Troubleshoot test failures and resolve issues.
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python).
• Experience with various testing frameworks (e.g.TestNG, JUnit).
• Familiarity with cross-browser testing and debugging.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Generate detailed test reports and documentation.
  

Testing Knowledge

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in writing and executing automated test cases for both web and mobile applications.
• Ability to identify testable events and develop effective test strategies.
  

Desired Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with performance testing.
• Experience with security testing.
• Experience with defect management tools.
• Relevant certifications.
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance with a focus on automation.
