Job Summary

Assistant Manager – Business Development


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

·       Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.

·       Develop and execute effective sales strategies, including lead generation and targeted prospecting.

·       Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets by securing new client engagements.

·       Collaborate with the Sales, Design, and Technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Client Relationship Management

·       Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key clients in the South region.

·       Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

·       Conduct regular client meetings and performance reviews to ensure continued satisfaction and business retention.

Operational Support

·       Prepare and submit tender documents, quotations, and competitive bid proposals.

·       Monitor project execution timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.

·       Support revenue optimization initiatives and manage strategic accounts.

Strategic Planning & Industry Awareness

·       Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.

·       Identify opportunities to leverage PetroBot's products and services to support strategic growth initiatives.

·       Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to inform business strategy.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

·       Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development.

·       Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market dynamics.

Qualifications & Requirements

Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics,

3–5 years of experience

·       Strong understanding of business development strategies and B2B sales processes.

·       Proven experience in preparing and managing tenders and bid submissions.

·       Proficiency in CRM software and basic project management tools.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·       Effective relationship-building and client engagement capabilities.

·       Understanding of industry-specific sales methodologies.

·       Strategic thinking and proactive approach to market expansion.
