User Experience Designer

Job Title: UX Designer About Akshayakalpa: Akshayakalpa is India’s first and most significant, Organic Milk producer every day reaching about 150,000 households in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. We believe much better can be done for both ‘our farmers’ & ‘the food’ we consume. We do this by creating role model farmers in villages who can inspire other farmers to stay put, grow and thrive in their own villages. About Role: The UX Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences across Akshayakalpa's digital platforms. This role involves understanding user needs, translating business requirements into intuitive designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and engaging digital experiences. Key Responsibilities: 1. User Research & Analysis Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights. Analyze user behavior and feedback to inform design decisions. Develop user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to guide design processes. 2. Design & Prototyping Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma. Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Ensure designs align with Akshayakalpa's brand identity and accessibility standards. 3. Collaboration & Implementation Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to implement designs. Participate in agile development processes, providing design input throughout. Iterate designs based on feedback and changing requirements. 4. Continuous Improvement Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices. Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization. Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 3 years of experience in UX design, preferably in the FMCG or organic food industry. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
