About The Opportunity

An established enterprise data analytics consultancy in the banking and financial services sector, we deliver high volume data warehousing and real time reporting solutions across global markets. Operating large scale Teradata ecosystems, we transform complex transactional data into reliable insights that drive regulatory compliance, risk management and revenue growth.Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop and optimize Teradata SQL scripts, BTEQ procedures and macros for batch and near real time workloads.
Build robust ETL processes to ingest, cleanse and harmonise multi source data using FastLoad, MultiLoad and Parallel Transporter.
Tune queries, indexes and partition strategies to achieve sub second performance on multi trillion row tables.
Implement data modelling standards for star, snowflake and FSLDM patterns ensuring data quality, lineage and governance.
Collaborate with business analysts to translate regulatory and analytics requirements into scalable data solutions.
Provide production support, root cause analysis and capacity planning for the onsite Teradata platform.

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

5 plus years dedicated Teradata development in large enterprise environments.
Expertise in Teradata utilities such as FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT and BTEQ.
Advanced SQL, join optimisation and statistics collection techniques.
Hands on experience with Unix shell scripting and scheduling tools like Control M.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling and ETL best practices.

Preferred

Exposure to Hadoop, Spark or cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of performance monitoring tools Viewpoint and PMON.
Experience working in BFSI regulatory reporting projects.
