Teradata Developer

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret requirement & issues specifications received from Business analysts or production teams.
• Participate with analysts to ensure correct understanding and implementation of specifications.
• Work in collaboration with the analyst of the project to meet the clients expectations.
• Take charge of the development work according to the priorities defined by the product owner.
• Propose technical solutions adapted to the business needs, develop technical requirements.
• Design and develop IT solutions based on the specifications received.
• Packaging and deployment on non-production environments and monitor production releases & deployments
• Participate in the testing support (system, user acceptance, regression) .
• Bring a high level of quality in developments, in terms of maintainability, testability and performance. Participate in code reviews set up within the program.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Participate in transversal, capability building efforts for the bank.
• Implementation of best practices, coding & development cultures
• Work closely as “one team” with all stakeholders jointly to provide high quality delivery
• Work on data-driven issues, innovative technologies (Java 17 or 21 with Quarkus Framework, Kubernetes, Kogito) and in the Finance & Risk functional areas.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical

(Mandatory Skills):

• TRERADATA development (intermediate, expert)
• Knowledge of Linux shell
• SQL queries
• Unit Testing

(Optional Skills):

• Management of temporality in Teradata
• Knowledge of Linux environment
