Job Title: Technical Lead – IT Infrastructure

Company: Mizuho Department: Infrastructure Services Location:(Chennai)


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in the design, deployment, and maintenance of Mizuho IT infrastructure
  • Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Lead infrastructure projects across networking, servers, storage, and cloud
  • Serve as the SME for Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, and backup/recovery systems
  • Provide mentorship to infrastructure engineers and support teams
  • Ensure high availability of core infrastructure services including compute, storage, and network
  • Define and enforce configuration standards, patching cycles, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Oversee incident and problem resolution for infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with application, security, and network teams on integrated solutions
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory standards, and audit controls
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure upgrades and migration initiatives


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including 2–3 years in a technical leadership role
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong documentation and process adherence


Strong expertise in:

  • Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs
  • Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS, Veeam, NetBackup, or Commvault
  • Automation/Scripting: PowerShell, Python, or Bash
